Sunday morning well spent! It’s been almost two years since my last ride at Monasterio’s enduro trails, so it felt extra good to be back. Stoked to hit Rapsa, Kaliwang Kamay, and Rocks, Roots & Reggae (RRR) 🤘🏻

They say you win some, you lose some…today, I lost my right toenail 😅 but I also sent an unexpected drop and rode out a few gnarly lines, (thanks to Black Ox Sealant PH Bike Boy PH) so I’ll take that as a win!

Grateful to the Sendr crew for the invite (Carlo, Cash, and Marc) 🙌🏼

JANUARY! 🤘🏻 I finally got to ride THE VIEW BIKE PARK in Tagaytay, built by the One Cavite Downhill Alliance through the combined efforts of bike groups based in Cavite. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who made this possible. It’s the right kind of steep and flow. I had so much fun!

Great catching up with DH community and I can’t wait to spend more saddle time here! 🤙🏻

I couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience Kota Kinabalu (KK) 🇲🇾 than riding with local legends and of KKDH (), the oldest and most established DH group there. Together, we biked the iconic Bukit Padang, a 1.4 km progressive DH line also known as “the grand old dame of trail riding” in KK.

This was last-minute as a few days before my trip, it seemed nearly impossible to find a bike tour that would take in a solo rider. Online options were scarce, limited mostly to cross-country mtb and city tours.

That’s when I stumbled upon Picie and , where I rented a highly-capable enduro bike (easily one of the best I’ve had abroad). They also happen to house .sabah HQ ⚔️

My friends from KKDH and Cyclopath went the extra mile setting up the suspension sag and fine-tuning the bike’s settings, making sure I felt comfortable and confident on the gnarly lines ahead.

What followed was a truly memorable last day in KK, made possible by the amazing global MTB community and the warmth of these riders. And of course, no ride would be complete without a well-earned, authentic Sabahan lunch to cap it all off! 😌🥘🍛
