1.) Are my items safely stored while in pawn?
- YES. GEM-REY Pawnshop takes special care to seal all of our customers' precious valuables in individually wrapped and labeled.and stored in a our vault which is under constant 24 hours surveillance cam, motion and heat detectors by the help of (SSMI) Security & Systems Monitoring Inc. intelligent fire and burglar detection and armed guards.
2.) What happens if I am late making my payment?
- GEM-REY Pawnshop tries very hard to give our customers sufficient time to pay the amounts due. If you need time beyond that day please call the landlines number on your pawn ticket.
3.) Can I lose my pawned items?
- Over 95% of our customers repay and redeem their loan. If a customer chooses not to repay the loan it will be forfeited.
4.) How do I get my jewelry back when I’m ready?
- When you get to the store you will need your ORIGINAL PAWN TICKET to make your payment and redeem your item.
5.) What if I need more than eight (8) months?
- All of our loans are renewable. If you are arriving at the due date of your loan and cannot pay back the money borrowed and interest due, you do not have to lose your valuables. Simply call and bring in your pawn ticket and the interest amount due. We will process your payment and issue you a NEW loan receipt good for eight (8) additional months. This can be done as many times as you need.
6.) Can I pay down my principal loan?
- YES. We would be happy to accept part of your original loan back when you are paying off your interest. This will help reduce the amount of interest due on the next payment. NOTE: You can only reduce your loan when paying your interest in full.
7.) Can I make another loan with Gem-Rey Pawnshop if I already have a ticket? GEM-REY Pawnshop will make you as many loans as you need. Each transaction is considered a separate loan and will be due based on the date which each loan was made.
8.) What is a loan renewal?
- If you are unable to repay your loan in full on its due date, you may pay for a renewal. You only pay for the accrued interest and a new pawn loan is written . The principal amount and interest rate stays the same for the duration of the loan.
9.) what if i lost my pawn ticket?
- you can visit or call the store and declared it was lose and you will be given a reported lost ticket and filled the info. what if i pay my interest or redeem my loan with out a ticket?
