In late 2024, I signed off as an office Mama.
I signed in to become a stay-at-home Mama.
And now, God has led me to become a work-from-home Mama. ❤️
And honestly, I feel so blessed to have this opportunity. This is something I had longed for since I left the corporate office.
I log in at 8:00 PM, so I need to put my toddler to bed first, usually around 7:00 or 7:30. Daddy works the night shift too, while Berry and I are at home.
Our nights are far from the “ideal” ones.
A daddy that comes home from work at 6? No.
A family that always eat dinner together at 7? No.
Bedtime stories at 8? Not our reality right now.
A family that prays and sleeps together at 9? Not always.
Because for us, when 8 o'clock strikes, that's when our hustle starts.
But this is our reality in this season.
And I'm learning that sometimes, you simply have to adjust to every season God puts you in...
and still choose to be thankful.
For a young family like ours, it means so much.
We are grateful.
Grateful that we're building a home career and a home business.
Grateful that our schedules allow us to bring and pick up our daughter from school together during the day.
Grateful that we can still drop by the park after school.
Grateful that Mama can be home to guide our little one through her homework.
And yes, we even get to take family naps during the day.
Nap for Berry. Sleep for Mama and Daddy. 😅
Weekends are our days off...
for church, family, and simply being together.
So yes, this is not the ideal setup.
But it's our real one.
Guided by faith.
Walking in grace.
And learning to be thankful in every season.
I know your family has its own story, too.
Maybe you have the normal, picture-perfect setup.
Or maybe, like us, yours is a little messy, unconventional, and far from ideal.
But whatever you're doing today, you may be planting a seed for the future you're praying for.
Sometimes, you have to make hard life decisions.
Sometimes, you simply have to wait in faith for the right door to open.
And sometimes, when that door finally opens, it doesn't look exactly how you imagined it.
But one thing remains true:
God is always faithful. ❤️
