Over the years, in person & from afar, she’s generously donated her picture books to our youth education drives, shown us around her own favourite outdoor sights in her own community in the 🇬🇧, & collaborated with us for our limited edition tote bags 🤩 we’re looking forward to safer times & welcoming her here in Palawan 🏝💙💚

1. What is the biggest challenge you've faced as a woman conservationist?
My biggest challenge wasn't necessarily to do with being a woman, it is perhaps more universal. It was finding my way at the start of my career. I knew I wanted to work in conservation but I didn't know how.
2. How have you overcome this challenge?
Over time, I was lucky and it fell into place. I realised that I didn't have to be a scientist - which really didn't suit my skills - and that I could specialise in communications. Wherever your skills lie and whatever your gender, ethnicity or age, if you are passionate about working in conservation, there is a niche for you.
3. Which woman conservationist inspires you?
So many inspire me. For a start, all the women highlighted by CS's . Each one is an inspiration and it emphasises that the many different ways of being a conservationist. Everyone is different and everyone's story is different. Your story is yours to write.
