Hi y'all! We decided to move our Junk Journal hangout last Saturday due to bad weather conditions. If you're interested in joining us we're inviting you to our second meetup this year. ILOKOS JOURNAL KLUB will be going back to CASTRO'S COFFEE on August 8 (Saturday) for an afternoon of creating and hanging out with the artsy community. ✨

Ms. Margo from SNUGGLE & STITCH will be teaching you with making your own Pouch Journal Cover! You can also customise your DIY journal with funky charms, colorful strings, stickers, and more!

No decent videos nor did I get the chance to take a proper selfie during Plannercon2026 Day 1 because holy crud the crowd was wild (in a good way ofc). But I just want to say A HUUUUGE THANK YOU to everyone who visited my table, said hi, brought food and even showed me their paintings using my handmade watercolors 🥹 I was even given a portrait of my beloved angel BauBau 🪽🐾 You guys rock!!! To the organizers Sticker Con MNL you deserve a week's worth of rest just as much! All those sleepless, zombie nights were totally worth it...

A little side quest: I always wanted to try and make clear stickers using my old floral watercolor paintings. A couple of days ago I found a print shop in my city and was able to make some test prints!

Still tweaking it and will be launching the final look on ! I'll be there on May 16 (Saturday) ✨ see ya~~

Adding whimsy in my journal ✨

• Photo 1: Just realized I've been using the same travelers notebook for the past 9 years and I still love it! This was a gift from a local leather journal maker. They have since ceased operations but I'm hoping, crossing my fingers they'll reconsider making a comeback.

• Photo 2: Added new charms, knick-knacks and other thingamajig from my recent trip to Taiwan. The string came from my partner's gift.

• Photo 3: Finally visited a stationery shop I've been following since 2018. Make a point to visit 拾筆 (shiiiiibi) on your next trip to Chiayi City, Taiwan. It's a stationery lover's haven! I got to use their stamps on my handmade accordion notebook too!

• Photo 4: I'm so happy to announce my collaboration with for Plannercon this coming May. For 4 long years, I've been an avid customer of her journal kits and mini journals. They're such a wonderful addition to my collection of ephemera and TN trinkets. Stay tuned for more info ✨

A wonderful friend gave me a year's worth of empty pistachio shells. Cleaning, drying, taking out the pith was especially an arduous process. It also takes me about a week or two of sun drying to completely get rid of the natural oils of the pistachio nut from the shell.
