Long before smartphones, laptop, or even wifi, there was the typewriter. A heavy mechanical machine that captured thoughts, history, even poetry 📄. And since the 1970s, Francis Mart was the place to get one.
If your lolo or lola ever typed a school paper, a heartfelt letter 💌, or a legal document, there’s a good chance it passed through a typewriter from Francis Mart. And when it needed fixing, they brought it back to the same shop, where it would be repaired with care, skill, and genuine service.
And what makes Francis Mart truly special? They never disappeared. They grew up with us.
Now, in a city that’s changed a hundred times over, Francis Mart is still here — not selling typewriters anymore, but helping Ilocanos stay strong and healthy through gym equipment 🏋️♂️
From documenting stories to now helping people write their own health journeys. The mission never changed: to serve the people of Laoag, with genuine dedication and care ❤️
