Story Time:
It was a good while since the last time I actually played the Pokemon TCG (almost prbly a Decade ago) and I got into it again thanks to my good friend Max who encouraged me to play...

I built my own deck, tried a Pokemon that I actually like, Excadrill!! Mega Form was really nice to play with!
I just finished my deck quite literally before a boothing day on a weekend, and I tried it with my Friend for the first time, and the feeling came back and HIT ME LIKE A TRUCK! or should I say.. it was a HEAVY feeling! 🤘
Focused on boothing, coincidentally there was a gym battle right in front of the event, telling myself I'm never gonna be able to try those out yet.. I'M A NOOB! I'm not built for it yet. But Max pushed me to do it because it will be a good experience, so I quickly stormed in and borrowed a full legal deck...
Long story short:
I signed up.. got my ass whooped.. learned a lot, was taught by the players how to play the game properly. I had fun.. but to my surprise the photo below came to me as a surprise! My very first Pikachu Promo card!! The feeling came back, and I wanna keep playing again soon!
Also, the bag that I had this card in was forgotten last night, and a bunch of stuff, yah boi STRESSED last night, but all is good now!
