From prepping, mixing, and baking to packing and doing a mountain of dishesβ€”it takes a lot of energy to run a small home bakery solo (my tired arms and feet can definitely confirm that πŸ˜…).

But seeing these treats come together, from our Mini Basque Cheesecakes to our signature Cookie Jars, is pure joy.

Had this crazy idea of turning Turon into a cookie, and I honestly wasn't sure if it would actually work. πŸ˜…

The whole R&D process tested my patience sooooo much. From computing the fruit yields, preparing every component, to adjusting the oven settings, and everything in between. it was a lot! At alam ng lahat ng nakakakilala sakin na patience is really not my virtue, HAHAHA

Surprisingly, it's not too sweet at all! It has that "adult sweet" balance I wanted. So happy with the cross section din. Nilagyan ko na lang ng raw muscovado sugar , flaky sea salt, and fried lumpia wrappers for the crunch eme.

It definitely went beyond my own expectations for a first test run, but I’m still waiting for the final verdict from my taste testers. Fingers crossed! 🀎✨
