On February 19, 2026, at about 8:00 PM in Ballesteros, Cagayan, operatives of the Santiago City Cyber Response Team arrested a 29-year-old woman, alias "Angel," by virtue of a warrant of arrest duly issued by the court.

"Angel" is facing charges for violation of Section 4(c)(4) of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), with bail set at Php30,000.00.

PBGEN Wilson C. Asueta, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG), commended the team for the successful arrest of the wanted individual. "Dedicated to promoting a safe and fair online environment, the PNP ACG urges all internet users to act responsibly and respect the rights and reputations of others," he added.

On February 9, 2026, at 6:23 PM in Pasay City, operatives of the Women and Children Cybercrime Protection Unit conducted an entrapment operation that led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man, alias "Fritz," for blackmailing and harassing his ex-girlfriend online using her explicit photos and videos.

“Fritz” is facing charges for violations of Article 286 (Grave Coercion) of the Revised Penal Code and RA No. 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004) and RA No. 9995 (Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009), all in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).

PBGEN Wilson C. Asueta, Acting Director of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG), commended the operatives for the successful operation. "No one has the right to exploit private images as tools for intimidation, humiliation, or control. The ACG will relentlessly go after those who engage in online harassment and abuse," he stated.

On February 5, 2026, at about 12:10 PM in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, operatives of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 4A implemented a Warrant to Search, Seize, and Examine Computer Data (WSSECD) against a 24-year-old man, alias “Rov,” who is being accused of grave threat through a social media platform.

The digital devices of the subject person were seized by RACU 4A and will be subjected to offsite digital forensic examination.

"Rov" is facing charges for violation of Article 282 (Grave Threat) of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 6 of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).

PBGEN Wilson C. Asueta, Acting Director of the PNP ACG, lauded the operatives for their successful implementation of the cyber warrant. “The efforts of the PNP ACG serve as a strong message to those who misuse technology to exploit others. We encourage the public to stay vigilant and report any types of cybercrimes to ensure prompt action against perpetrators,” he stated.

On February 5, 2026, at about 11:40 AM in Quezon City, operatives of the Quezon City District Anti-Cybercrime Team arrested a 51-year-old woman, alias "Lita," by virtue of a warrant of arrest duly issued by the court.

"Lita" is facing charges for violation of Section 4(c)(4) of RA No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), with bail set at Php10,000.00.
