🌱 How’s it been lately at Adhika?

Vermicast production continues, and now we’re adding Mokusako (wood vinegar) to our farm technologies. From learning by doing to turning practice into knowledge, the sustainability quest continues. 🌿

Learn. Practice. Share. Grow.

Another step forward at Adhika Nature Farm!
Our new Mokusako facility is taking shape, a meaningful step toward our developmental plan for circular, sustainable, and organic agriculture.

Grateful to DA-ATI Region IV-A for the continued developmental support, and to our consultant, Ms. Yet Valentin, Troy Integrated Farm Co-Owner and MOFA President, for sharing her knowledge and expertise.

Building better farms, one learning, one partnership, and one innovation at a time. 🌿

September vibes from Adhika. 🌿

In organic agriculture, growth takes patience,
we nurture the soil, respect the season, and trust the process. Development is much the same. Not everything needs to be rushed. Not everything needs to be forced. We simply cultivate, learn, adapt… and let things grow. 🌱

A farm is more than the land we see. It has its own language, its contours, elevations, water flow, slopes, and natural patterns. We simply have to learn how to read it.

Grateful to Sir Jabez Flores for sharing his expertise in drone mapping, topographic analysis, and permaculture, and for mentoring us to look at Adhika Nature Farm through a different lens.
With technology, we can map the land.
With permaculture, we learn to listen to it.

The goal is not to force the land into our plans, but to understand what the land is already telling us, and design accordingly.

Perhaps that is the deeper lesson in sustainable farming:
Before we cultivate the land, we must first learn to understand it.

Know the land. Work with nature. Nurture the future.

We're already halfway to 2027.

It's easy to feel that pull, like time is moving faster than the goals we set for ourselves. But have you ever noticed how nothing on a farm grows fast?

A seed needs time. It needs rain, sunlight, and soil that's been cared for, not rushed. You can't force a plant to grow faster just because you're impatient, or because the calendar is moving. It grows when it's ready. Maybe that's true for us too.

Here at Adhika Nature Farm, we spend our days planting, waiting, and learning, the same way our students do as part of our TESDA-accredited farm school. Farming has a way of teaching patience without saying a word. You learn to trust the process, even when you can't see anything happening yet, and even when the year feels like it's slipping by.

So this Sunday, wherever you are on the way to 2027, maybe it's okay to just take stock instead of rushing. Good things take time, whether it's in the soil, in a season, or in life.

Take it slow today. 🌱

Nature's way of saying, "Uy, pahinga ka muna."

Proof that the best kind of therapy sometimes comes with trees, fresh air, and a really nice view. 🌿
