What an unforgettable launch for the first leg of the Designers’ Holiday Bazaar! 🎉

Over the past four days, the hall was constantly packed with unforgettable energy as shoppers came together to jumpstart their holiday shopping and experience the magical spirit of the season. Bringing DHB to Davao City for the very first time was a journey filled with incredible local artisans’ talent, culture, and pure joy! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who dropped by, supported our homegrown creatives, and celebrated Filipino design with us.

This milestone was proudly presented in partnership with Ayala Malls as our official venue partner, along with BPI, GCash, and Globe, and special thanks to our official logistics partner, AC Logistics.

Art, culture, and community coming together under one roof! Today wrapped up the bazaar in a true celebration of Filipino talent! 🇵🇭✊🏻
 
While we celebrate the best forms of artistry and craftsmanship, DHB offers something you can’t buy. That unique slant is what sets us apart, honoring all expressions of art through immersive cultural moments you can only experience and feel right here 🤍

We had a full house of shoppers exploring unique exhibitor booths and discovering local lifestyle products, all capped off by a special showcase from the Locsin Dance Workshop, choreographed by National Artist for Dance, Agnes Locsin. The day was further enriched by captivating cultural highlights, including performances of Tannggonggohan Kulintang and Usahay with live music by Kaliwat, as well as a Kapamalong-malongperformance by the Madayaw Cultural Ensemble.
 
Experiencing these live artistic showcases alongside Ms. Bea Zobel Jr. and Ms. Sofia Zobel-Elizalde, Maricris Brias, Founder of T’nalak Home and Creative Director of Tagum Agricultural Development Co., Inc. (TADECO), and City Councilor Atty. Antoinette Principe, Representative from the Office of Mayor Baste Duterte, made the afternoon all the more special.

The “Ber” months are here, and so is the season of local artistry and giving back at the Designers’ Holiday Bazaar Davao! 🎉

We officially welcomed the first leg of DHB this year at Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao City with the Opening ceremony featuring the illumination of the DHB Stars, symbolizing this year’s theme, “Sinag,” serving as a reminder that continues to light the way for Filipino design, culture, and the arts.

Ms. Bea Zobel and Ms. Sofia Zobel-Elizalde shared heartwarming messages of gratitude and appreciation to everyone who continues to foster creativity and support Filipino artisans crafting unique and timeless lifestyle products. We were also honored to welcome special guests celebrating this milestone alongside them, including Tanya Rabat Tan, DOT 11 Regional Director, Hon. Myrna Ortiz, City Councilor, Third District of Davao and Maricris Brias, Founder of T’nalak Home, Creative Director of Tagum Agricultural Development Co., Inc. (TADECO).
