A meaningful keepsake for our Dutch guests in Malolos, Bulacan. 🌷🇵🇭🇳🇱

Punique is proud to make another custom keepsake for two VIPs visiting our town --- Ambassador Roderick Woles and his dear wife Mrs. Nene Wols. These Netherlands-inspired flag and tulip brooches are thoughtfully handcrafted by our Filipino weavers and artisans, showcasing our "Bulakenyo" heritage. Huge thanks to Palacio Real de Sto. PUNIQUE recently concluded an online "puni" workshop with three Filipina professionals now residing in Chicago, USA. They are also our long-time Punique clients and art enthusiasts who are truly interested on learning the craft firsthand. They say that it helps them appreciate their roots and it brings back fond memories when they were still in the Philippines.

Many thanks to Maam Helen Christine Sayo-Guinto, Maam Rheena Evangelista and Maam Karen David for taking time off from their busy schedules being a nurse, financial analyst and assistant principal respectively and for making time to learn about our Filipino traditional craft. 🇵🇭

May this session become a "seed" for future collaborations for our art and our advocacy. Thirst for learning and art appreciation knows no distance. 💖
