A father's faithfulness to the Lord leaves a legacy that reaches far beyond his lifetime. May we be reminded that a life lived for God's glory becomes a blessing to generations yet to come.

Lumabas sa isang pag-aaral na nakapagpapahaba umano ng buhay ang pagbabasa, na isang libangan para sa ilan at paraan upang makapagpahinga mula sa mga pang-araw-araw na gawain.

Sa isang pag-aaral na inilathala sa Social Science & Medicine noong 2016, binantayan ang 3,635 na adults sa loob ng 12 taon, at natuklasan na ang mga nagbabasa ay may 20% na mas mababa ang tiyansa na pumanaw agad kaysa sa mga hindi nagbabasa.

As Mindanao continues to experience aftershocks following the recent earthquake, we invite everyone to join us in prayer for the safety, comfort, and strength of all those affected.

Please pray for the families who have lost loved ones, those who have been injured or displaced, the rescue and relief workers serving on the frontlines, local churches ministering to their communities, and our PCBS branches and team members across Mindanao.

May God protect communities from further harm, provide peace amid uncertainty, and grant wisdom and endurance to those responding to this crisis.
