The beginning...
When I was a kid, my mom had a gift shop, long before Shoppesville,Glorietta or Greenbelt came about. She sold PX goods, which is what they used to call imported items procured from the States. We sold mostly toys and children's items. I always had orange underwear as a kid as these colors were the least sellable. Behind the cash register at the shop was where I learned the concept of money and during the Christmas season, I learned the art of gift wrapping. The business took up most of my mom's time for years as it flourished. My siblings and I had the nicest toys in town. With the sprouting of bigger malls,the business eventually had to close down. But the enterpreneurial spirit lives on in our veins... And now we have OUTLET 888. Feast on the vast variety of items we have acquired near and far, not necessarily available locally, yet at reasonable prices. If you have any requests for items, we will try to obtain them for you.
