Dedicated to Nana Juana, our grandmother.

Before sunrise, she was already in the field. She tilled the land, planted the corn, and tended every stalk so her children would never go hungry. Beside her, her husband plowed. Together, they fed a family.

We stitched her story into this Abaca crochet bag: the sunflower in her hair, the corn in her basket, the strength in her gaze.

In 2024, we brought our Rattan weavers from Danao, Cebu, most of them senior citizens, our oldest a remarkable 82, along with their children and grandchildren, for a full day at the museum. For many of these children, a museum is a place they've only heard of — grand, distant, out of reach. Because of you, it became real. They walked through halls of art and history, wide-eyed, curious, present.

That's the quiet power of every bag you carry. It isn't just a purchase — it's a weaver's livelihood, a grandmother's pride, and now, a memory a child from Cebu will carry for life.
