Collegiate Volleyball warms up for Season 85
The UAAP Season 85 Collegiate Volleyball Tournament held its Press Conference, Wednesday, February 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena to set its momentum for the commencing series of matchup on Saturday, February 25.
Current UAAP President, Fr. Aldrin Suan reminded the teams that they are here to dig deeper to their respective University's core values, to set the standard of sportsmanship and serve as leaders of the UAAP Community.
When asked about the teams' groundwork being the defending champions in all divisions, NU Athletics Director Rustico Camangian said that the key to success in any team sport is preparation. “Excellence will always be a choice. You choose to be a champion by preparing well.”
Meanwhile, Cignal TV's Head of Sports Content, Mr. Mico Halili vouched to provide the best volleyball experience for the fans through One Sports and Varsity Channel available on Cignal CH. 263 HD and on Cignal Play Premium while Smart LiveStream app will also provide coverage through the app donwloadable from Apple Store or Google Play.
Game days will be Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays with the men's matches at 10 am, 4 pm timeslots and the women's at 12 noon, 2 pm schedule.
