Ocean Park Hong Kong with a 4YO: Is It Worth It? 🐼
If you’re traveling to 🇭🇰, here is my honest take as a mom with a 4-year-old.
1. The animals? Worth it. 🐼🦭🐠
The pandas, sea animals, and everything we got to see up close were definitely one of the highlights.
2. The rides? 🤷🏻♀️
The lines were LOOOONG.
Kahit na game si hubba for extreme rides, naka-dalawa lang siya—Hair Raiser and The Rapids. We just didn’t want to spend most of our day waiting in line.
3. Is it kid-friendly? YES. BUT… 👧🏻
Sure, there are kid- and family-friendly attractions. But height requirements also limited what our child could ride. Bukod pa sa mahaba ang pila!
With a 4-year-old, I’d manage my expectations on how much you can do and actually fit into one day.
4. The cable car? Definitely fun! 🚡
One of our favorites! But if you’re specifically looking for a cable car experience in Hong Kong, you have another option naman outside Ocean Park: Ngong Ping 360.
5. Would we go again? Probably not. 😅
For us, Ocean Park felt like a one-time experience. Maybe we’ll change our minds in a few years. Maybe not. 😂
But for our family at this age, I think it’s just not for us and I’d happily skip it next time. Again, this is my personal take as a mom with a 4-year-old. 🤍
