Ayesha Mae has exhibited commitment to children with special needs through lobbying ordinances on institutionalizing a scholarship for neurodevelopmental pediatricians aiming to multiply the healthcare professionals in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. She has also worked with mothers of neurodevelopmentally ill children facing autism, Down syndrome, and intellectual delay for six months as a medium to assist for their all-inclusive development.
