As we were clearing the outskirts of NBP reservation at noontime, subject was seen running from the creek at MCX Highway until cornered and exchange gunfire to our personnel from BuCor and Muntinlupa City Police Station led by the NBP Superintendent and the new Chief of Police.

Our government forces were forced to retaliate and after sometime, they neutralized the gunman who was later identified as one of the PDL escapees named PDL Pacifico V. Adlawan, Prison Number N218P-2041, who bolted the MaxSeCom prison earlier at dawn today. Minor injuries were reported on the government side this time and the site of the firefight is now being processed by the PNP Crime Lab SOCO team.

A 9mm pistol with live bullets and spent shells were recovered near the lifeless PDL.

Clearing operations on other parts of the NBP Reservation is still on going as of 1454H by other combined elements of BuCor and NCRPO.
