QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME)
2. With knowledge and experience in Fire Protection Systems
3. Highly knowledgeable in Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS), Fire Suppression, Sprinkler, and related fire protection works (advantage)
4. Expert in reading and interpreting engineering plans
5. Proficient in AutoCAD / CAD operation
6. Able to prepare, review, and modify shop drawings and as-built plans
7. Knowledgeable in project implementation, site inspection, and supervision
8. Can coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and site personnel
9. Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
10. Willing to conduct site visits and project supervision
11. With relevant experience in fire protection projects is an advantage

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise and monitor fire protection system installation projects
2. Review and interpret plans, specifications, and technical drawings
3. Prepare and revise CAD drawings, shop drawings, and as-built plans
4. Coordinate technical requirements with clients and project teams
5. Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress
6. Ensure installation works comply with approved plans, specifications, and applicable fire protection standards
7. Assist in technical documentation, project reports, and project turnover

This is the constant pressure regulator. Part of the upper assembly of the Inert Gas tank, the purpose of this part is to safely lower high cylinder storage pressure down to a steady, lower working pressure (typically 25 to 60 bar) during discharge.

This is the bleed valve. The purpose of the bleed valve is to prevent unwanted pressure building up in the pilot line, that may result in an unwanted discharge. The bleed valve is attached to the pneumatic actuator on top of the inert gas's tank. Only one bleed valve is present in each row of inert gas tanks.

This is the Inert Gas Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing System. I.G. for short. It's another type of clean agent that uses natural gas or gasses. The inert gas when discharged moves much faster due to high pressure reaching 200 bar or 300 bar and vary in amount depending on application.

How a FK-5-1-12 works in a Data Server Room!

This is the clean agent system, full name is FK-5-1-12 Clean agent fire extinguishing system. This system is designed to extinguish fire in places with sensitive equipment such as this data center in the example to be shown soon.

Its main components consist of the following First are the FK tanks themselves, on top of that is the pressure gauge followed by the valve assembly, pneumatic actuator, electro magnetic actuator, and manual actuator. From the valve assembly it leads to the discharge hose until finally it comes through the check valve before releasing to the rest of the system when the system is activated.

The “GAS DISCHARGE” Flashing Light - Model XXSG-01340 is the visual alarm that is used to warn personnel outside the protected room that the fire detection agent release control panel of the extinguishing system has been activated.

and it is in the mode that the fire suppression agent is going to or already released. This visual alarm is usually activated during the 2nd alarm mode of a cross-zones agent release control system.

Did You know? The SOE-24V Photoelectric Smoke Detector utilizes a Green/Red LED for indication of status. In a normal standby condition the LED flashes Green every 3 seconds. When the detector senses that its sensitivity has drifted outside the UL listed sensitivity window the LED will flash Red. When the detector senses smoke and goes into alarm the LED will continuously light on Red.
