It's September and the rain just keeps coming.
Day after day, the sound of raindrops fills the room, making everything feel a little slower and quieter. And somehow, rainy days have become the perfect excuse to sit down with my yarn, pick up my crochet hook, and simply create.
Thereโs no rushing today.
Just a few stitchesโฆ then a few more.
Sometimes I only finish a small section. Sometimes I spend more time undoing stitches than making them. ๐
But Iโve learned that small progress is still progress.
With every row, the project slowly takes shape. What started as just a ball of yarn becomes something I can eventually hold, use, and be proud of.
Crocheting has taught me to appreciate these little momentsโthe quiet afternoons, the sound of the rain, the warmth of yarn between my fingers, and the satisfaction of seeing even the tiniest bit of progress.
Maybe I won't finish the project today.
And that's okay.
Because tomorrow, I'll pick up my hook again and add another row.
One stitch at a time. One rainy day at a time. Need more rows to finish.
Just fit checking.
