Before the day ends, we wish to honor the sacrifices, hard work, and the extra mile that teachers all over the world take for their students.

We cannot thank you enough for all the care and love you give to make this world a better place.

Our hope is with you, that your hard work may be recognized, justified, and dignified through a better system and stronger support from the communities you care for.

Ang daming nangyari after ng incubation program, and it’s only been 3 months, almost 4! Ang daming taong nakilala, opportunities na dumating, at pintong nagbukas para sa Taka ng Paete.

Forever grateful sa mga mentors na nakilala, sa fellow makers, founders, and creatives, at sa lahat ng partners na kasama namin ngayon sa pagsusulong ng advocacy na ito: ang maiangat ang value ng taka at makapagbukas ng mas maayos at sustainable na kabuhayan para sa ating mga magtataka.

Hindi sapat ang thank you para sa lahat ng patuloy na sumusuporta at nakikipag-partner sa amin. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. As in. 🤍

We were exposed to hustle culture, and we adapted to it, not necessarily because we wanted to, but because we needed to.

May this Taka Registry remind us of the slow mornings and quiet evenings we wish to have for ourselves and for the people we love. May the slow morning become a norm again, a life where haste and speed are no longer requirements for survival.

While we may not be able to afford slowness 24/7 just yet, may we learn to recognize the days when we are given the freedom to slow down. May our minds, so accustomed to rushing, learn that it is okay to pause. That calm is not unproductive. That a hustle-free morning or evening is something we are allowed to experience.

May we allow ourselves, and even our nervous systems, to feel what it is like to be unhurried.

And in the absence of trees, may we find little pockets of slow mornings and quiet evenings in the comfort of our homes. May these moments also remind us to hope for a future where trees, shade, and spaces to slow down remain available to all of us.

May we remember that slowing down is not a luxury we should have to earn. It is part of being human.
