Our Summer Arts Workshop 2026 officially concluded with a wonderful awarding ceremony celebrating the creativity, dedication, and growth of our amazing students.🧑🏻‍🎨

From mastering primary colors and tape resist lines to exploring deep shadow values and complex color harmonies, these bright minds have truly transformed into confident little artists. Seeing them proudly hold up their Certificates of Completion is the absolute best reward!🏆

Xam explored the vibrant world of color theory today, demonstrating a great grasp of visual harmony. She utilized complementary colors by pairing purple and yellow to create a high-contrast sunset that truly glows. She further expanded her skills applying a split-complementary palette to her starfish artwork, balancing red with blues and yellows for a dynamic beach scene. It’s wonderful to see her perform these technical lessons into such expressive pieces!

It’s the penultimate day of our Summer Arts Workshop 2026, and today was all about personal expression! 🎨
After days of learning techniques and color theory, our young artists took the lead and chose their own subjects to bring to life.

Day 8: Mastering Light & Shadow 🍊🍒

It was all about depth and dimension today at our Summer Arts Workshop 2026! Our young artists stepped into the world of still life painting, focusing on how to use shadow values to make flat shapes look like real, 3D objects. 🎨✨

By observing how light hits a surface and where the shadows fall, they’ve learned the secret to making their art "pop" off the canvas. 🖌️🌑
