🚨Carhartt K87 Pocket Tee: Original Fit vs Loose fit?
📌What’s the difference between OG fit and Loose fit?
Based on the product description of K87, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN THE SIZING OF THE TWO, only the label has changed.
💡Additional Information based on my experience 😊
Original fit was common until the late 2020s. But during the first 3 months of 2021, Loose-Fit-labelled shirt begun to emerge.
🚨Keypoint:
Original fit - All K87 made til the late 2020s (Old Release)
Loose fit - 2021 release (New Release)
📌Some said that, “Loose fit has a bigger sizing than Original fit”
Thats is partially true and false. Carhartt K87 pocket tee has some variations in terms of sizing even before Loose fit label has emerged.
📌So what caused the confusion?
Of course, the label itself (Loose fit). I made a video comparison between the sizing of Loose fit and Original fit below. You can clearly see that there’s slight to no difference between the sizing.
Typically, K87 pocket tees which are made in Guatemala usually has a best/excellent fit. For instance, Guatemala-made K87 shirt in size Medium has a 22-inch width but the Honduras-made K87 shirt in size Medium has a 22.5-23-inch width.
🚨Keypoint:
Made in Guatemala - Best or Excellent fit
Made in Honduras - Typically has a bigger width compare to Guatemala-made. Also has a longer sleeve length (+0.5 inch)
📌Conclusion:
There’s no such thing as a perfect shirt, all of them has their own flaw/s but regardless of that, they all passed the quality control phase of Carhartt.
