7 TIPS FOR CHOOSING A BODY MIST

1.TRY THEM
Everyone has their own unique body chemistry, which means that body mist might smell different on different people. So, don’t just assume that something that something that smells great on your friend is going to work for you. Most stores allow you to sample the scents before you buy, so you can find one that makes you smell heavenly.

2.DECIDE ON YOUR DESIRED SCENT
Do you want to smell like a fresh flower garden, or do you prefer something like grapefruit or lime? Maybe you prefer something with a bit of spice or musk. Before you go shopping, decide what you want to smell like so that you can narrow your search right off the bat. Otherwise, you are going to be sampling scents until you can’t smell anything anymore.

3.CONSIDER THE INTENSITY
Some body mists are going to be incredibly strong, while others will be subtle. I prefer the softer scents, but you should think about where you plan to wear the mist. If you’re going to be in a crowded office, you might think about choosing something that isn’t too strong because it will only intensify in close quarters. Your co-workers might not appreciate that very much. If you’re planning a day outdoors, something heavier might be perfectly fine.

4.BUDGET
Like I said before, body mists are generally far cheaper than perfume. However, they do range in price, so settle on a budget before you shop so that you don’t wind up spending more than your checkbook can handle. Once you’ve decided how much you can afford, you can shop in stores that have prices that match your budget.

5.USAGE
Some body mists are meant for underarm use, while others can be used on the whole body. Before you grab one, make sure you’re getting the one you want. I like to spray my body mist on my wrists and neck, so the underarm version wouldn’t be the one I’d need. The label is the best place to find this information. Read each of them carefully before making your selection.

6.LENGTH OF USE
Because body sprays are usually less intense and cheaper than perfume, you can’t expect them to last as long. That means you should buy a larger container of the mist you choose so that it will last longer because you might apply it more than once a day. The great news is that body mists generally come in much larger quantities than perfume. I can usually stretch mine out for at least 6 months before I need to restock.

7. ALTERNATE USES
Body mists are perfect for layering scents because they aren’t as strong as some perfumes. So, if you can’t find the exact smell you’re want, think about piling on a couple of body mist scents instead to get what you’re craving.

Just pop the lid off the tester, don’t spray it, but just inhale the aromatic residue of its last spray. This will help you identify whether or not you like the scent. Try a few different scents, from a few different fragrance houses. At this point, avoid spraying anything and contaminating yourself with a scent. Once you have sniffed a few different scents, choose three that you like most. Using the sample cards that are on display, spray a small amount onto each tab. Ensuring to keep them separated at all times.

HOW DO YOU USE BODY MISTS?
Much like perfume, body mists should be applied directly to the skin. We recommend spraying your body mist all over your skin immediately after your morning shower or bath.
