TERMS OF WARRANTY
Darwin On Tech offers 1 Year Local Warranty for all Royal Kludge and Ajazz products that we sell
- no lubing
- no modifications
- no disassembly
- no damage in the unit
- no flashing of firmware
- no use of unauthorized software or firmware
Warranty covers any factory defects that might affect the proper functioning of your purchased product. It doesn’t cover any of the following
- damage that may occur from normal wear and tear
- damage caused by improper use of the product
- damage caused by owner’s neglect
- damage caused by force majeure
- damage caused by using an extension software, regardless whether the software is issued by manufacturer or not.
FOR HOT-SWAPPABLE KEYBOARDS: Switches are not covered by warranty.
Your item will not be covered by our 1-year warranty if the inspection shows any sign of modification or changes unsupported by the original product, these include: changing internal components, disassembling and reassembling the product, alteration, modification, replacing or addition to any of the parts of the product, replacing batteries, applying lubricants etc, regardless if it is the cause of the malfunction or not.
If defective, message us ASAP. Do not try to fix or flash the firmware.
If your product is defective, we will send you a replacement unit. Before we send you a replacement unit, we will require you to send the defective unit back to Darwin On Tech
For the first 7 days after you receive the product. If found that the defect is in the product, we will reimburse the customer for the cost of return, provided that the problem is reported within 7 days of your receipt of the purchased product. We will also shoulder the cost of sending you a replacement product.
If problem is reported beyond the 7-day period, the cost of shipping will be paid by the customer, regardless if the product is proven to be defective or not. If proven defective, we will shoulder the cost of sending you a replacement product
If proven that the product is not defective, or has physical damages or the customer performed modifications to the product, customer will pay for the cost of getting the product back from us.
Defective products can be replaced if there is a suitable replacement. We will shoulder the cost of sending the replacement product to the customer. If there is no suitable replacement, customer may either choose a full refund or choose another product of same or greater value. Customer will pay for the difference in value of the replacement product.
