WE WILL SHINE THE BRIGHTEST
Every hardship in our lives is a blessing in disguise because it forms us. It makes us stronger and once we go through the process of hardship, it gives us the voice, the story to tell the world that hardship is not meant to break us but to make us stronger.
In my artworks during the lockdown period, I was able to do artworks with conviction that there is hope in our lives, there is hope for tomorrow, there is God. During this dark season, as they would call it, you will see the stars and the moon that shines even brighter. The darker the night is, the light will shine brighter. I could even think of several paintings that I did during these challenging times that are full of hope, that are soulful, because when I did it, I did with all my soul... - Sherwin Tan
