Iloilo City - The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO 6) conducted 44 anti-illegal gambling operations from April 1 to 15, 2026, across Western Visayas, resulting in the arrest of 118 individuals and the confiscation of PhP41,975.00 in bet money.
Top-performing units were the Iloilo City Police Office with 16 operations and 31 arrests; the Iloilo Police Provincial Office with 10 operations and 31 arrests; and the Capiz Police Provincial Office with 7 operations and 26 arrests.
PBGEN JOSEFINO D LIGAN, Regional Director, commended the operating units and emphasized sustained enforcement.
