It's a small cottage industry business that started in 1964 when our dad, Rufino and our mom Marta got married. The peak of success was during the 1980's as I remember the client using 'kaing' containing 500 pcs of balut when ever they purchased. Aside from balut we also sell penoy na higupin or may sabaw at penoy na tuyo, salted eggs as we fondly call it "itlog na maalat" and made to order bibing
