Another successful board-level repair.

Client Issue: No Display / Black Screen

Initial Actions Taken:
We tried replacing with a new LCD and new main flex cable, but the issue persisted.

Root Cause & Diagnosis:
After thorough troubleshooting and deep diagnosis, we found the fault was not on the display assembly. The main display line supply coming directly from the CPU had failed.

Solution:
CPU Rework / Reball Done - Display back to normal!

This is why proper diagnosis matters. Not all no-display issues are LCD problems.

Diagnosis: Full short on the main power line, no power at all.

Lenovo IdeaPad 1 - No Power | Shorted Power Rail - FIXED

Issue: Unit came in dead, no power.

Diagnosis: Upon board-level inspection, we found a shorted main power rail. Microscopic examination revealed burnt / cracked MLCC capacitors near the power stage (PC1101 / PC1107 area), a common failure point that pulls the entire rail down.

Solution:

Precisely isolated the shorted line using voltage injection & thermal imaging
Removed the defective capacitors
Cleaned and replaced with compatible high-quality components
Verified that the short is cleared and power rails are stable
Result: Laptop now powers on normally and boots to Windows. No board replacement needed - pure board-level repair.

Board-level repair saves cost and saves data.

Another Impossible Repair Done!

Device: Oppo Reno 8T (No Power)
History: Checked by 2 technicians, declared as dead motherboard.
Status upon checking: Intact board, no signs of repair attempt - which gave us a higher chance of recovery.

Diagnosis & Solution:
After thorough checking using schematic and microscope, we found the problem on the CPU itself. Performed a precise CPU Reball procedure.

Result: 1 Shot, Fixed! Phone is now back to life with all data intact.

Moral of the story: Don't lose hope on your "no power" or "motherboard issue" units. Bring it to a specialist who does proper board-level repair.
