Every great journey starts with a single step. For Varda Food Group, that step was taken in the vibrant heart of the city, right on the campus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), with a small, unassuming burger kiosk.
🍔 The PUP Beginning
Flipping patties and serving iskolar ng bayan, our founder had one vision: to provide quality, affordable, and nutritious food to support student success. That passion, forged on a small grill at PUP, grew into a commitment to excellence.
📈 The Rise, The Resilience
The years of hard work led to remarkable growth, with a pre-pandemic success of 56 store openings! But when the pandemic hit, we faced staggering losses. Did we give up? No. We channeled the resilience of every Filipino student we served.
✨ The Triumph
Today, we have risen stronger than ever. Varda Food Group is now the Leading University Food Service Partner in the Philippines!
We are proud to partner with 15+ Universities across the nation—including prestigious institutions like Ateneo de Manila, De La Salle Lipa, Mapúa University, and still, our beloved home, PUP—serving over 50,000 students every day.
Our story is a testament that a small beginning with a big heart and unwavering dedication can achieve national impact.
