It's never quiet inside my head, but some days, just when I thought I'd grown used to it, it breaks me. I find myself asking silent questions in an empty room, or with my earphones on and head sandwiched between my pillows, trying to drown out the sound and hoping under my breath to fall asleep.
I guess I really can't seem to figure things out, and I envy those who look as though they already have theirs pictured. Mine is but a vague outline of nothing, a haze I can't seem to ever recognize.
Maybe, one day, I'll find it.
Maybe I'll just get used to it.
Until then, I'll just put my earphones on to drown out the sound, hope to fall asleep and wish that tomorrow's a better day.
