Focus on your own race. Comparing yourself to orhers is a horsesh*t. Make your own progress, no matter how slow it may take. 🙂

Remember that breathtaking scene when young Diana almost won the Amazon ‘Olympic’ Games?

She was doing well, she was dominating it, and she was first among all Amazons in the middle of the game, until she fell down her horse because she kept on looking back. She was comparing her progress with those behind her instead of focusing on herself and her path.

Sounds familiar.

We sometimes compare ourselves to others too much that we forget to look in our own progress.

We waste our energy looking on how far are we from our competition instead of looking on how far are we from our goals.

As we start a new year, here’s me reminding you to take more time this year to do some self-reflection, focus on how you can do better compared to your past self, and not in comparison with anyone.

Your own journey is unique. Trust the process. Focus on your own progress but be more kind to yourself.
