Hall of Fame Authentics (HOFA) was born from the passion of partners Elvis Gutierrez, Ron Uy and Stephen Songco, who are lifelong basketball fans. The partners began as sneaker heads who always had to have the freshest releases from Nike and Adidas, to rep their sports idols. However, as their passion for hoops and all things sports grew, they started craving a deeper connection with their sports

idols than just rocking signature sneakers. In 2009, the first signed memorabilia they purchased was a Spalding basketball, autographed by Kobe Bryant through the online auction site – eBay. However, since they were newbies, and didn’t have access to any information and advice, it turned out that the basketball they purchased online was a fake that wasn’t really autographed by Kobe Bryant. Undeterred, the partners built up their knowledge and experience and have grown their collection to include numerous signed sports memorabilia including pieces as rare as signed game used shoes of hoops icons Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Always making sure that each piece they purchased was authenticated. Looking back at the earlier difficulties they experienced collecting sports memorabilia, the partners wanted to make a one stop site dedicated to the authenticated sports memorabilia collector in the Philippines.
