The brand is Lifa Air. This is by a company from Finland that specializes in indoor air purification. They have spent more than 30 years in air pollution control, working with global government agencies, healthcare sector, sporting organizations to improve indoor air quality. Their industrial products are widely used in more than 50 countries from residential buildings to universities, hospitals, hotels, government facilities and other industrial applications.
As for their consumer products, there are two Air Purifier models by Lifa Air that are being marketed here in the Philippines currently.
LA500V (recommended for area up to 72sqm) - PhP 22,000
LA350A (recommended for area up to 39sqm) - PhP 19,000
LIFA Air has a 2-Filter System. 1) It has the Hepa Filter which would help with allergies as it traps dust, pollen, mold spores, dust mites and other allergens and bacteria. 2) It has the Activated Carbon Filter which helps with odor as it captures chemical fumes, gases, cigarette smokes and odors. So, these 2 filter systems work in tandem.
I would say that these models are in the mid-range in terms of pricing in comparison to what's available in the market. You would find lower priced ones and the factors that may affect price aside from the brand and the overall research/manufacturing standards that go behind it would be the material type, functionality, the effective coverage area or the type of filter systems used. Some will combine Hepa Filter with Ion Filter. Or Hepa with UV Filter. There are more expensive air purifiers than LIFA and those use military-grade filters that can filter particles up to .007 micron (in comparison, Lifa filters particles up to .3 microns).
