Not everything beautiful has to be a flower. 🤎

Throwing it back to one of our earlier explorations from the Floral Exploration series.

This time, we looked at something wonderfully ordinary and very Filipino: singkamas.

Usually found on the kitchen table, cold and crunchy, ready to be dipped in bagoong or enjoyed on its own. 😅

But what if we looked at it differently?

Through this piece, we explored harvest, home, texture, and Filipino warmth using something we wouldn’t normally consider part of floral styling.

Because at Unwrapped, creativity isn’t always about finding another flower.

Sometimes, it’s about seeing the beauty in what’s already around us.

Floral Exploration Series (Piece No. 4)
White Bougainvillea

Before flowers became our profession, bougainvillea was simply part of the scenery.

Growing up in the province, halos bawat bahay may ganitong tanim. It's one of those flowers that quietly brings back memories of home.

For the longest time, we only saw it as a garden plant.

Then curiosity led us to ask:
Can the white variety become a centerpiece?

A few stems, a simple vase, and a little observation later, we discovered that it stayed beautiful for three days at room temperature.

These little experiments remind us that every flower has its own personality.

The beauty isn't just in how it looks, but in understanding how it lives, how it ages, and how it wants to be arranged.

Sometimes, the most beautiful designs begin with seeing familiar flowers through a different lens.

Next on our list?

The fuchsia pink bougainvillea. We've heard it has a shorter vase life, but we don't have one in our garden yet.

If anyone has cuttings to spare, we'd love to continue this exploration. 🌸

Something unexpected happened during the Citadines Wedding Collective.

I was asked if I could design five bridal bouquets for the bridal runway.

Without overthinking it, I said yes.

And just like that, I found myself creating bouquets for our very first bridal runway show. 🥰

This may seem like a small thing to some, but for me, it means sooo much.

For the longest time, I have been praying to the Lord for opportunities like this.

To create. To style. To be part of beautiful celebrations. To see Unwrapped - Flowers, Hampers and Events grow into something bigger than what I can imagine.

And then, this opportunity came.

Unexpectedly. Suddenly. And all I had to do was say YES!

So here's a little video of our first bridal runway show at the Citadines Wedding Collective. ✨

And I pray that this is the beginning of something I have been praying to the Lord for, for a very long time.
