What a year 2025 has been! We tried to fit everything into this recap video - just snippets of the moments, milestones, challenges, and celebrations we shared at PTCAO. Still, there’s so much more we carry with us.

We share this as a look back on our journey and a reminder of why we do what we do - 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲🌟🤍 in fulfilling our commitment to preserve and safeguard Capisnon culture and heritage, promote the arts, and implement tourism development programs for the community we are entrusted to serve 🌾🎭🌊

𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗣𝗜, also known in some parts of Capiz as Suman (Balinghoy) is a traditional delicacy made of grated cassava mixed with coconut meat and muscovado sugar, wrapped in fragrant banana leaves and gently boiled. 🤤

𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘇 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗣𝗧𝗖𝗔𝗢 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀

The Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO) and its personnel were among the awardees recognized during the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) of the Capiz Provincial Government on December 17, 2025, at the Hall of Governors of the Capiz Provincial Capitol.

Anthony H. Colmo, Supervising Tourism Operations Officer, was named Grand Winner for Most Outstanding Employee (Frontline Services - Second Level), while Naneth F. Dela Cruz, Park Attendant III, received the First Runner-up award for Most Outstanding Employee (Frontline Services - First Level).

PTCAO was likewise recognized as First Runner-up for Most Outstanding Office (Frontline Services), citing the office’s consistent delivery of quality public service, validating its contributions to the advancement of tourism, culture, and the arts in the province.

PRAISE is a program that honors public servants and offices that exemplify excellence, integrity, and meaningful impact in governance, reinforcing the provincial government’s commitment to recognizing merit in public service.

PTCAO and its awardees dedicated the recognition to their colleagues and the communities they serve, acknowledging the collective efforts of their co-workers and the continued trust and support of stakeholders who believe in the office’s thrust in tourism, culture, and the arts.

🕒 Alas tres na. Mahaw 'ta! 😋

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗛𝗢𝗟!!! Aripahol, also known as P**o Balinghoy, is a local favorite made from steamed grated cassava with a sweet filling made of grated coconut meat cooked in muscovado sugar called bukayo. 😉☕🍴

Here's our 𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗦! Ibus is made of glutinous rice cooked in creamy coconut milk and carefully wrapped in either coconut fronds or banana leaves. Best enjoyed with "lasaw," a sauce made from cooked coconut milk and muscovado sugar. YUM!!! 🤤
