I didn’t lose myself. I think I just got tired from carrying so much alone for so long.

Heartbreak has a quiet way of bringing you back to yourself. It forces you to slow down, to sit with the pain you kept avoiding, and to finally see how much of yourself you’ve neglected while trying to hold everything together.

Somewhere between loving too hard, surviving every day, staying strong for everyone else, and carrying burdens I was never meant to carry alone, I forgot myself too.

I forgot how to rest without guilt.
How to feel peace without fear.
How to choose myself without apologizing for it.

But healing has been teaching me that letting go is not losing. Sometimes, letting go is the very thing that saves you.

Little by little, I’m learning to return to myself again. Softer. Wiser. Closer to God. And maybe for the first time in a long time, I’m finally becoming the woman He was trying to protect all along 🤍

Healing doesn’t have to look and be perfect.

Some days it’s progress.
Some days it’s simply grace.

Not every step needs to be strong.
Some days, surviving is enough.

Lately, I’ve been learning that healing isn’t always beautiful or put together. Sometimes it looks like quiet nights with my kids, unfinished prayers, tired eyes, messy emotions, and still choosing to keep going anyway.

And maybe that still counts as healing too 🤍

I didn’t realize how much I was carrying
until I finally put it down.

I held on to things I was never meant to carry alone.

The fear.
The disappointment.
The need to keep everything together.
The pressure to stay strong even when I was quietly falling apart.

I kept convincing myself I could handle it.
That if I just stayed busy enough, prayed enough, worked enough, or stayed silent enough, eventually the heaviness would disappear.

But deep down, I was exhausted.

Not lazy.
Not weak.
Just emotionally tired from carrying things my heart was begging me to release.

And I think healing really began when I finally admitted that to myself.

When I stopped clinging to things God was asking me to surrender.
When I stopped trying to control every outcome.
When I stopped pretending I was okay just because I was still functioning.

Some things don’t leave you all at once.
But little by little, I’m learning that peace comes when you finally let go of what was never yours to hold forever 🤍

Healing became quieter for me.

Less explaining.
Less reacting.
More praying.
More resting.
More learning how to protect my peace.

I’m still growing through things I don’t always talk about. But little by little, I think I’m becoming softer, calmer, and closer to the person God wants me to be 🤍

Some days I was comforting my kids while trying not to fall apart myself.

I think that’s the part of motherhood people don’t really talk about enough.
The world doesn’t pause when your heart is tired. Your kids still need you. Life still moves. There are still things to do.

Some days all I could do was take things one hour at a time.
And honestly, sometimes surviving the day was already enough.

Healing has been quiet for me. Slow. Messy. Not linear at all. But I’m learning that even soft progress is still progress 🤍

Trying to heal while working, raising kids, and keeping everything together is exhausting in a way people don’t always see.

It’s answering emails while your kids are calling for you.
Cleaning up while your mind already feels heavy.
Trying to stay patient when you’re drained.
Smiling and acting okay even when you feel overwhelmed inside.

This page is my little fresh start 💜
No pretending to have everything figured out. Just a space for real moments, quiet growth, work-from-home life, running a business, motherhood, healing, and everything in between.

Inspired by an artwork I once came across online.
