"So I waited 2 weeks to write my review because I wanted to try it first. I bought this honey to be used as treatment for my cat's open wound, as per the recommendation of his vet. The wound started as 2 small punctures wounds on the right side of his face near the neck which I think he sustained from bites from another cat or even possibly a dog. The wounds formed a huge abscess which my poor cat scratched, scraping off skin from the left side of his neck down to his throat. So it became a huge nasty open wound that according to vet could take up to 3 months to fully heal.

I first bought different brand of honey here on Shopee which I used for 2 weeks, but after further research I decided to buy Manuka honey also here on Shopee. I read so many good things about it, that it's the best for wound treatment so I bought it even though it's a bit pricey - 1500 ++ for 250g. But after using it on my cat for over 3 weeks, I didn't see significant improvement. I'm not sure if it was a fake Manuka honey that I bought but it looked legit. I didn't wait to finish the entire jar and looked for a different brand instead. Until I chanced upon this item. I just noticed today that my cat's wound has reduced significantly. Unfortunately I didn't get to take a before picture, but it got smaller by 40% in the past 2 weeks that I've been using this honey! It definitely worked better than Manuka and a lot cheaper. Too bad that I didn't see this listing when I was first looking for a good quality honey. I'll buy another bottle once I finish the first one."

Amazing how our lukot/kiwot product beat manuka in wound healing properties.
