Funny how sometimes, the books that leave the biggest impact on us are the ones we never intended to read.
Just like this childrenโs book that I randomly picked up while sorting through our books.
Itโs about a knitted cat who wonders why he was made. He sets out into the world, asking everyone he encounters, and somehow, the answers are endless. Yet, none of them seem to satisfy him, until he finally finds an answer that feels right.
Then he realizes that all the clues to his question had been there all along: โWhy was I made?โ
Itโs a short and incredibly beautiful story, but somehow, it stayed with me.
At whatever stage you are in life right now, I have a feeling this little book might resonate with you. And if it doesnโt, perhaps it will still awaken something in you that has been dormant for a long time.
Just like it did for me.
There was something about this story that made me pause and reflect on where I am, where Iโve been, and all the things Iโm still uncertain about.
Maybe it was just a random book I happened to pick up.
Or maybe, sometimes, the right book finds us at exactly the right moment. ๐งก
