MiRe Printing Services.. our beginnings... just to inspire.
We started way back 2017, while in maternity leave after a miscarriage, to keep myself busy, I made handmade towel animal souvenir, posted online and to our surprise inquries and orders came in. From then, we continue with other items and since I knew how to sew, we venture on canvass bags and pouches and to make them special we personalize thru acrylic painting. Someone notice them ("our angel") and introduces us with sublimation printing.
We study the concept, and then found ourselves in the hallway of Odeon mall and Divisoria buying printers and materials with 20K in our hand (she had given us all info).
Doing business while working full-time is hard. Everyday after work, we do the designing, printing and packaging and deliveries the next day before going to work again. During Sundays, instead of resting, we found ourselves in Manila sourcing out supplies and new ideas. It goes on for almost 3 years, by 2020 my husband decided to quit work and focus, we got a commercial space and then pandemic strikes, no events means no souvenir. After a year of almost survival in sales, he decided to go home (cut rents, electricity, etc). We focused more on posting online, and then again "our angel" (Sya ulit) introduce us on shopee, she said sales is good.
I set up our shop and posted our products, keep doing it repeatedly even no orders are coming in. And then suddenly, orders for our canvass bags are pouring in, we are now on track. We continue our online journey, lazada in 2024 and TikTok in 2025.
Or course there are days with minimal orders but there are also months when you could only hear the clicking of our heat press. We are still learning, we keep on studying and we are still always improving. I'm proud of what we had achieved already but still, we still want to do more, seize more opportunities.
Malayo layo na, pero malayo pa...
We have both left our work to do business (with our employees).
Always Thankful to the ONE Above!
Naniniwala ako that in times of need, he sents angels in disguise.
