LOOK: Under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director of the PNP-EOD/K9 Group, the Group held its regular Recognition and Awarding Ceremony to honor deserving personnel for their outstanding accomplishments at PNP-EOD/K9 Group Headquarters, RECU-NCR, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

Following the ceremony, PBGEN RAYMUNDO, JR delivered an inspiring message to the troops, issuing the powerful reminder that "The Challenge is ours." He passionately urged all personnel to step up, push past their limits, and go far beyond the standard call of duty in the fulfillment of their mission.

SHOCK AND AWE CAMPAIGN PROMOTES PUBLIC AWARENESS AND EXPLOSIVE THREAT PREVENTION IN ABRA

RECU-CAR, PECU Abra conducted a “Shock and Awe” operation through Junk Shop Visitation and Inspection on May 18, 2026, at Tamondong Junk Shop, Ubbog, Bangued, Abra.

The activity started at 8:30 AM and concluded at 9:00 AM, led by PSMS Alain Dacsig, Assistant Team Leader/EODT, together with PMSg Daniel Olsim, PSSg Ronald Chang-asen, and Pat. J***y Loyd Galliguez, EDDH, with Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) “Nike.”

During the operation, personnel conducted inspection and visitation activities aimed at strengthening public awareness and preventing possible explosive-related incidents. The team also reminded the junk shop owner and employees to immediately report any suspected explosive ordnance or hazardous materials to authorities to prevent unwanted incidents and ensure community safety.

The activity underscores the continuing commitment of the PNP-EOD/K9 Group, under the leadership of PBGEN Rogelio Z Raymundo Jr., in sustaining proactive security operations and promoting vigilance among business establishments and the public.

No untoward incident was reported during the conduct of the inspection.

BATAAN PECU STRENGTHENS SECURITY MEASURES THROUGH EOD AND K9 OPERATIONS UNDER OPLAN SUMVAC 2026

RECU3-Bataan PECU conducted a “Shock and Awe” operation through EOD Paneling and K9 Sniffing Operations at Victory Liner Bus Terminal in relation to Oplan SUMVAC 2026 on May 18, 2026.

The activity commenced at 10:25 AM and concluded at 10:40 AM, led by PEMS Randy C Talento, EOD Technician, together with PMSg Jesus L Gasmen, EOD Technician, PMSg Roderick M Biraquit, EDD Handler, and PSSg Pedro A Aggabao, EDD Handler, under the supervision of PLT JOHN B CANARE, Team Leader.

The operation involved the conduct of target hardening measures through EOD paneling and K9 sniffing operations at the Victory Liner Bus Terminal located at DM Banzon Avenue, Brgy. Ibayo, Balanga City, Bataan. The activity was carried out to preempt possible criminal, terrorist, or sabotage-related activities and to ensure the safety and security of the commuting public amid emerging threats.

The operation further highlights the continuing commitment of the PNP-EOD/K9 Group, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO JR, in implementing proactive security measures and strengthening public safety in transportation hubs and other vital installations.

The activity ended successfully with no untoward incident reported.

PNP-EOD/K9 GROUP ENSURES SAFE AND SECURE PALARONG PAMBANSA 2026 IN AGUSAN DEL SUR

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, personnel of the Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Agusan del Sur conducted police presence, paneling operation, and visitation of vital installation for the Palarong Pambansa 2026 at the Datu Lipus Makapandong Gov. DO. Plaza Sports Complex.

This comprehensive security coverage highlights the Group's enhanced operational readiness to ensure a safe and successful national sporting event.
