There was a season in my life when I became weak. I slowly lost myself while chasing the things the world said would make me happy. I became distant, impatient, and sometimes even selfish. I held on to power and control without realizing that little by little, I was drifting away from the person God wanted me to be.
I was so focused on achieving, gaining, and proving something to the world that I forgot the quiet promises I once made to Him. My prayers, which used to be simple and sincere, slowly became filled with my own ambitions. I asked more for what I wanted rather than seeking what He wanted for my life💖
And in the middle of all the noise, the success, and the temporary happiness, I felt something missing. My soul knew that I was not growing the way God designed me to grow.
But God is merciful😇
Even when I forgot Him, He never forgot me. Even when I lost my way, He patiently waited for my heart to return.
Through every mistake, every broken moment, and every quiet realization, He taught me something deeper than success or recognition. He taught me surrender.
I learned that healing begins when we stop pretending we are strong and finally admit that we need Him.
I learned that true peace does not come from the world but from walking with Christ.
I learned that contentment is a blessing, and humility is a grace.
Today, I choose differently.
I choose to follow His will over my own.
I choose to be healed, to grow, and to live with a heart that seeks Jesus.🙏
I am still a work in progress, but now I walk with Christ—and that is the most meaningful journey of all. 🙏✨
