Sharing this artwork and God’s reminder to me these past few weeks. ✨

There will be a lot of things that is totally out of our control, and sometimes we really need to back off and stop trying to do things on our own— this is something that God reminded me this season. I tried to do things on my own, that it made me feel so burdened and anxious. But as a child of God, we have this confidence that even when we cannot control something, God is able to work things for our good. We can rest knowing that the Lord we have is someone who knows far more than what we can even imagine, and He holds our future! We may not be able to fix things on our own but that doesn’t make us less of a value. God as our Father is always willing to do things for us His children, and He knows what he is doing. So let go, and trust that the Lord got you and your situation. ❤️🌷

In our weakness God’s grace is always enough. Enough to carry us, strengthen us and continue to do what we are called to do. This may sound cliche to some people, but it is the truth. No matter how many trials or challenges may come our way, the Lord is sufficient for us, He is more than enough. There is nothing we should be worried about when God is on our side. 🙌🏻

A little reminder for us today from Lamentations 3:22. Even though we are facing a lot of chaos all over the world, we have this hope that God’s love for us will never stop and will never change. And his mercies for us are new every morning. ✨🌸

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” ~‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬

What the Lord has promised you, He will fulfill it according to His perfect time. What seems so slow for you is just a perfect pace on God’s timeline. Continue to trust Him, trust His plans and continue to rely on who He is. 🫶🏻🌸

Suddenly, things started to move again in this small space where I used to visualize my dreams and casually create what makes me happy. 🥹🌷✨

One of the reasons I went on a break is not just because of how busy I’ve been in the past months, but because I lost myself and forgotten the real reason why I started this. I was mentally and emotionally exhausted that even the love I have for creating art didn’t work for me anymore. I was so frustrated that I cannot even finish the set of designs I am doing for one sticker pack. And the frustrations kept going as I cannot produce something that was usually so casual for me. It grew to a feeling of being miserable that I even thought of closing our shop for good. 😮‍💨

Good thing, I found a community where we read a passage from the bible and paint something from what we read. It was like a medicine for me at that time, because I felt like I am getting healed slowly from what I’ve been carrying. And from there I realized how I first started creating art— that is through painting. That’s why I’ve been painting recently, because I needed to remind myself how I started creating art, and how it made it me happy and now, how my artwork/crafts makes other people happy 🥹 So seeing our studio come to life again really means a lot to me. 🌸

I seriously cannot finish anything in my Ipad recently, so I tried going back to where I started creating artwork with so much fun and peace. It is such a breather and a relaxation with a little sense of fulfillment. 🥹
