The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) informs the public that the food product PYX FOOD PRODUCTS Honey (Light) has been registered by the Market Authorization Holder (MAH) PYX FOOD PRODUCTS TRADING in accordance with existing FDA rules and regulations.

Accordingly, the list released in FDA Advisory No. 2025-0083 is hereby updated to remove the aforementioned food supplement.

🐝Ang pure honey o purong pulot-pukyutan ay kilalang natural na lunas para sa ubo at sipon dahil nakakatulong itong pawiin ang iritasyon sa lalamunan.

💡Ayon sa mga eksperto, nakakabawas ito ng pag-ubo at nakakatulong para makatulog sila nang mahimbing.

⛔️Ngunit, may napakalaking paalala ang mga doktor pagdating sa pagpapainom nito sa mga bata:

❗️Bawal sa sanggol:
Hinding-hindi dapat painumin ng honey ang mga batang wala pang isang (1) taong gulang. Maaari itong magdulot ng infant botulism, isang uri ng seryosong food poisoning.

❗️Tamang edad:
Maaari lamang itong ibigay sa mga batang 1 taong gulang pataas.

⭐️Paano ito ibigay:
Maaari kang magpainom ng 1 hanggang 2 kutsarita (teaspoon) ng pure honey bago matulog.
Pwede rin itong ihalo sa maligamgam na tubig o tsaa.

❣️Paalala:
