Position: Assistant Manager β Internal Audit
Job Purpose:
The Assistant Manager β Internal Audit will be responsible for planning, executing, reporting, and ensuring implementation of internal audit recommendations across Chaudhary Tradersβ operations. This role ensures compliance with organizational requirements, assesses internal controls, identifies operational risks, and provides actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement risk-based internal audit plans for branches.
Conduct financial audits of the Head Office.
Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare major audit findings reports and present them to management.
Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow-ups.
Lead, develop and mentor a team of internal auditors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.
Assist in developing and updating internal audit frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Support management in risk assessment and control improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3β5 years of experience in an internal audit, preferably in leasing or microfinance sectors.
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
