Description:

The Olivetti Lettera 22 was designed in Italy in 1950 by Marcello Nizzoli and proved to be extremely popular throughout the 1950's winning numerous design awards.It was very portable for the time as it measures 30 cm x 30 cm x 8 cm high.It has the usual all metal casing and is in a blue/green enamel colour with charcoal coloured keys.This model was made in Glasgow rather than in Spain, Italy or Mexico and has the Olivetti branding on the right side of the carriage and the Lettera 22 logo on top of the ribbon cover.This one has the standard " elite " sized font size so types with 12 letters to the inch.

Description:

The Brother 210 is a 1970s and 80s edition of the Brother’s extraordinarily successful portable manual typewriter design. This one has a metal case and spool cover, but plastic carriage trim and case lid. It produces a regular row of type, and is easy and light to use. It is carriage-shifted, but for a machine of this size, that is not a problem.
They are well-made, and offer a sensible range of features in a fairly compact shape. This one gives us all the numerals. If we were asked what typewriter would give the best bang for buck for someone who actually wanted to use such a machine, rather than own it for its rarity or whatever, this would be high on the list.

The Beautiful Olivetti Lettera 22 - 1949 Made in Italy

The Olivetti Lettera 22 [oliˈvetti ˈlɛttera ventiˈdue] is a portable mechanical typewriter designed by Marcello Nizzoli in 1949. This typewriter was very popular in Italy, and it still has many fans. It was awarded the Compasso d'oro prize in 1954. In 1959 the Illinois Institute of Technology chose the Lettera 22 as the best design product of the last 100 years.

This has been the most liked typewriter due to its sleek look and ultra portable design. One cannot resist acquiring this beautiful masterpiece once they get a hand on the delicate keys.

Imperial Good Companion Model 7 - 1960's

The Imperial Typewriters Good Companion typewriter series was named after British writer and playwright and Imperial user J.B. Priestley's play of the same name. It was an extremely popular British-made typewriter series made between 1932 and the 1960s. The first model off the production line in 1932 was presented to Priestley by Imperial thus providing some useful launch publicity - and a useful marketing boost.

The company also gained the typewriter 'By Royal Appointment' insignia when a machine was sold to Buckingham Palace and thus gained a valuable PR coup as Britain's most prestigious and most visible typewriter manufacturer.
Mechanically the Imperial Good Companion portable typewriter changed very little between the first model of 1932 and the Model 6 of 1961. The model 7 was the last model of the Good Companion typewriter series.

Smith Corona - Super Sterling 1960's Typewriter

This typewriter is from 1960's, made in USA. This typewriter has an elite typeface (slightly smaller than normal) however it's still very crisp and legible. Cosmetically, this typewriter is in near mint shape except for a few scratches/marks that are mainly present on all old typewriters. Mechanically, this typewriter is fully functional and is an amazing typer.

This was one of Smith-Corona's last manual portable designs, which went unchanged for decades because it was just about perfected. This model is also extremely easy to use and care for, and uses universal ribbons which are easily available in the market.

This Typewriter is received well between by ladies as fits smaller finger exceptionally well and key strokes are very easy to use.

Tippa 2 - 1960's German Typewriter with Original and rare booklets.

The little "original Tippa" caught on fast, but in the mid-50s Gossen decided to abandon this very basic if effective design for something a little more stylish: the Pilot (also the Tippa B), with its Hermes Baby-like gull-winged ribbon covers. The "look" came at the cost of some of the original Tippa's typeability, however.

This gave the impression of a slightly larger machine, through a much broader "lipped" base, though it was not much higher, if at all. The sturdy and equally stylish Gossen case included compartments for stationery, the "necessaries" which allowed the company to promote the concept of an "office on a briefcase":The new-look Adler Tippa won a design award in Milan in 1960 and another in Germany in 1962. It is a fine writing machine, too, and fully deserved the widespread popularity it enjoyed, rivalling the earlier Tippas.

Best gift for writers and Arts enthusiasts. One of rarest Alder typewriters.
