PCOS just got a new name. And honestly? It’s about time.
It’s now called PMOS - Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.
And if you’ve ever been told
“you don’t have cysts, so you’re fine”
this one’s for you.

That’s exactly what was wrong with the old name. PCOS made everyone including doctors think it was all about cysts on your ovaries. So if your ultrasound came back clear, you were sent home. No answers. No support. Just… dismissed.

But here’s what I’ve always known (and what many of you living this already knew too) the cysts were never really the point. The real story is your hormones, your metabolism, your skin, your mood, your cycle and your whole body.

PMOS finally says that out loud.
What I really hope changes now:
Women stop being told to just go on birth control and come back when they want a baby.

Doctors start looking at the whole picture, not just one scan. Real research finally gets funded into food, herbs, lifestyle, and hormonal root causes. Nobody else spends years feeling crazy because their labs looked “normal.”
This name change is a step. A big one. But the work isn’t done.
