Dwarf Sagittaria / Dwarf Sagg

If you want to know the easiest plant to carpet your low-tech tank! this specie of Sagittaria subulata aka Dwarf Sagittaria is what I recommend you. Dwarf Sagg is a grasslike plant with vibrant green color. It propagates by runners and provides an excellent hiding place for fish babies and shrimplets.

Lighting demand: low to moderate
Maximum Size: 6-8 Inches

Vallisneria americana / Jungle Vallisneria / Jungle Vall

If you want to fill your background with the tall and easy-going plant, then don't further. Jungle Vall is a dark green very long leaves plant that fits in the easy grow category. It propagates by runners, and it doesn't overshadow the rest of the plants in the aquarium.

Heteranthera zosterifolia / Star grass

If you need a bushy plant right in the middle of your aquarium, Star grass is the best choice. It has a very light green color, which gives an eye-catching view of the middle ground. It's an easy plant but it grows fast, so pruning is regularly required. It grows with side shoots so in no time you can have a bushy look.

Hrgrophilla Polysperma

Probably the 2nd choice of beginners in planted tanks. Easy to grow stem plant that can adapt to almost all types of water conditions. This plant grows so fast, that regular trimming is necessary or it starts to shades other plants. It has a variety of leaf shape and colour, depending on different aquarium parameters.
