Noman Khan is a third-generation craftsman practicing the stone engraving art of Chitarkari. This craft originally involved carving patterns using schist stone sourced from the Gangar Mountains, and was historically used to adorn tombs.

Noman will be demonstrating this craft live at the pop-up, offering a glimpse into the skill and precision behind Chitarkari.

At Tali Karachi, we’ve been experimenting with adapting Chitarkari onto new materials, and are excited to launch this new range of products in-store!
